Who We Are and What We Do
There are very few of us whose lives have not been touched by cancer in some way or another, whether it is a close friend, a relative or a co-worker. New progress is being made each day in cancer research, both in treatment and prevention. We also recognize the importance of encouragement and support for those who have gone through their courses of treatment and proudly wear their pink “survivor” hats. With that in mind, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support of our efforts. Since our inception, we have been able to generate in excess of $315,000.00! Some of the recipients of our funding have been NEO Komen for the Cure, The Gathering Place cancer support center, JD Breast Cancer Foundation and Cleaning for a Reason. We urge you to look into each of these organizations to see the valuable role they each play.
Our goal will always be to help as many people whose lives are touched by cancer as we can. We respectfully ask for your continued support of our efforts. Every gift of support, no matter how small, takes us another step in the direction of healing, hope and THE CURE.

One of the main reasons Boaters For A Cure was founded in 2000 was to compensate for the greater San Francisco area’s struggles with Housing the Homeless. One of our goals is to ensure that the most vulnerable and at-risk groups in the north east Ohio area are safe and have their basic needs taken care of.
